What GiftLog does
GiftLog keeps gift ideas for the people in your life and remembers what you already gave them and how much they loved it, so the same present never shows up twice.
Backup and a new phone
There is no account and no cloud sync, so your GiftLog data lives only on this phone. A backup file is how you keep a copy or move to a new phone.
- In GiftLog, open Settings and tap Export backup. GiftLog puts all entries and photos into one .zip file and opens the share sheet.
- Choose where the file goes, for example Files, AirDrop or Mail, and keep it somewhere safe.
- On the new phone, install GiftLog, open Settings, tap Import backup and pick the file.
Importing adds what is missing. Entries already on the phone are kept and nothing is overwritten.
Deleting the app deletes its data. If you want to keep it, tap Export backup first.
