Privacy
This page has two separate parts: the GiftLog app, which collects nothing, and this website, which counts visits without cookies.
The GiftLog app
Stays on this phone. No account, no tracking.
What the app collects
Nothing. GiftLog does not collect, send, sell or share any data. There is no account and no server. No tracking, no analytics, no ads and no crash reporting.
What stays on your phone
Your people, occasions, gift ideas, gift history, reactions, photos and settings are stored only on this phone, inside the app's own storage.
Permissions
- Camera and photo library: asked for only when you choose to add a photo. Photos are resized and kept inside the app; they are never uploaded.
- Face ID, Touch ID or passcode: used only to unlock the app when you turn on the app lock. iOS does the check; GiftLog never sees biometric data.
- Notifications: local reminders scheduled on this phone when you turn them on. No push service, no device token.
- No contacts access: you add only the people you choose; GiftLog never reads your address book.
iOS asks before a permission is first used, and you can change it at any time in the Settings app.
Backups
A backup file is created only when you tap Export backup. You choose where it goes through the iOS share sheet, for example Files, AirDrop or Mail; it never goes anywhere on its own. Import backup reads only the file you pick.
Deleting your data
Settings → Delete all data removes everything from the phone. Deleting the app does the same.
This website
This website (giftlog.labinate.com) is separate from the app. GiftLog never connects to it.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It is cookieless: it sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not build a profile of you. We only see aggregate numbers, such as page views, referring sites, countries, browsers and page load times.
Because no cookies are used and nothing is stored on your device, there is no consent banner.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site, Cloudflare processes the technical data of each request as our host, for example your IP address in transit and in security logs, under its own privacy policy (cloudflare.com/privacypolicy). We don't use this data to identify you.
There are no forms, no accounts, no ads and no other third-party services. The fonts are served from this site.
